I love this product, it's my second one. I put the first one on my JAO custom Tikka 300 Win Mag. I liked it so much that I ordered another one and put it on my Tikka T3X Laminated Stainless 30.06. I love Mountain Tactical products. They keep me shooting!

Perfect fit, more clearance than the plastic original that comes with Tikka, give more room to engage the trigger when wearing gloves in cold weather.
Fit is perfect and larger trigger guard will be useful for this fall’s hunting season.
When it comes to after-market upgrades for a Tikka rifle, Mountain Tactical is my first stop. They make outstanding products and their service is great. The bombproof recoil lug and the bottom metal are necessities in my opinion and the picatinny rail and Arca rails are fantastic additions. Standard Tikka magazine work just fine in this bottom metal as well as Mountain Tactical's metal mags. They also carry Limbsaver recoil pads and other little extras to make your Tikka just the way you want it.
Well made, and snapped right in my Tikka t3 Varmint stock with no in letting required. Good protection for bottom of the rifle and trigger.
Quality feels great and it fit nicely. Magazine is a little “gritty” and does not go in or out as smoothly as factory, I’m hoping this will get easier with use. Also magazine release makes awful grinding sound when depressed. All stuff I will live with though and overall I appreciate how solid it seems!
I’ve bought three of these bottom metals from Mountain Tactical and they are superb products. They all fit perfectly in my Tikka Rifles. Machining and finish are excellent. This product has definitely improved the accuracy of my rifles as they replaced the cheap plastic bottoms that were provided from the Tikka factory.
It improved the accuracy on my tikka 3x 350 legend. So I got one for my 30-06.
